1. (B) is grammatically right?
2. Then, (A) and (B) mean the same.
(A) I left the door unlocked.
(B) I left the door to be unlocked. |

"I left the door unlocked" means that the door was unlocked and I left it that way; I didn't lock the door.
"I left the door to be unlocked" means that the door was locked and I left it that way, to be unlocked by someone else later. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
