Hello teachers. Could you help me?
I would like to know if the following sentences are acceptable and gramatically correct.
1. Smoking has many bad points but no good points.
2. The good points of smoking far outweigh the bad.
Thanks in advance.

1...This sentence is okay, but I would say that 'Smoking has many bad points and no good points.' is better. The two parts of the sentence separated by the conjunction are in agreement that smoking is bad; they are not in contrast. I would pay atttention to the meaning of the sentence, not to the words "many" and "no".
2...This is a good sentence.
grammatically.......2 'm's. |
