| Such simple distracting activities are most relaxing for him, while a woman wants to expand talk about her day, remember the details, and then let go. A man lets go by forgetting what was stressful, while a woman lets go by remembering. |
What word or phrase can 'distracting' be replaced with?
And also what word or phrase can 'let go' be replaced with?
Thanks. |

| Such simple distracting, activities (= diverting activities; activities that draw away the mind or attention) are most relaxing for him, while a woman wants to expand talk about her day, remember the details, and then let go. A man lets go (= allows himself to escape; sets himself free, relaxes, lightens his emotional load & etc.) by forgetting what was stressful, while a woman lets go by remembering. |
