Quote:
That's more than last weekends top-grossing film, The Incredibles pulled in.

Does the quote make sense? I think that 'That's more than last weekends top-grossing film, The Incredibles which pulled in much money.' is right rather than the quote. But I'm not sure. Could you tell me if I'm right and why I'm not right.

Thanks.

.
The quote is fine, but mispunctuated. It should read:

That's more than last weekend's top-grossing film, The Incredibles, pulled in.

Do you still have a question?

I'm still cofused about the quote.
Can the quote be replaced with 'That's pulled in more than last weekends top-grossing film, The Incredibles.'?

Thanks.

.
'That' in the original and my version refers to a previously-mentioned sum of money.

'That' in your latest version refers to a previously-mentioned movie (other than 'The Incredibles').

So, no-- they are not interchangeable.
