We had a barbecue and after the meal we ( ) fireworks.
What word or phrase can be put in the parenthesis when I want to say "We set off some fireworks and enjoyed watching them?
Do you say "do fireworks"?
Thank you in advance!

We had a barbecue and after the meal we set off / shot off fireworks.
We do not say, "do fireworks," but we might say, "have fireworks" or maybe "ignite fireworks." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
