1. "It is difficult for me to study math." [Spelling counts.] OK.
But: "It is difficult to me to study math." Not correct.
2. "It sounds good to me." OK. Means I agree with it, or it sounds right to me.
But: "It sounds good for me" does not mean the same thing. When something is good for me, it is healthful, or helpful, or what I need. When something is bad for me, it is the opposite--unhealthful, unhelpful, or what I do not need. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
