What's the difference between a terrace, a deck and a patio?
Thanks! |

Hello worksmart -
Terrace (Fr.) - a paved area adjoining a building (manor/villa) at gound
level, raised or rooftop
usually larger and more formal with surrounding balustrade and often
overlooking a prospect.
Deck (Gr.) - an outdoor floor attached to a building with no roof
usually made of wood and raised above ground level.
Patio (Sp.) - a paved outdoor space adjoining the the back of a house
often enclosed (fence/hedge) for privacy.
Are you building a house? Philo:) |

Thanks Philo.
And I am not building a house.
Wish I could build my own though. |
