Is the last sentence grammatically correct?
I'm not going to throw a party, but if I had a party, I think I would prepare as many kinds of dishes and drinks as I can, and have a band play background music. I hope all the guests would enjoy the party.
I'd like to know if using "would"(the subjunctive mood) after "I hope" is acceptable.
Thank you in advance!
