I want to translate the following sentence.
"We did some research recently where we went out and asked companies about change."
Does this sentence say that we did research outdoors???
Thanks, |

It doesn't mean that they literally went outdoors and spoke to companies while standing in the street or at the beach. But it means that the researchers went to the businesses to speak with the appropriate people to find out what they had to say about the topic being investigated. This would be in contrast to interviewing people by telephone, or mailing out questionnaires, or asking people to come to the laboratory to answer questions. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
