Hi,
Please refer to the following sentence:
Recently in Tokyo, a child who was laughed at and pushed on the school playground because he was handicapped tried to kill himself.
Do you agree that the writer omits the word 'was' before 'pushed on....', i.e. ... a child who was laughed at and was pushed on the school playground... ?
