Dear teachers,

Would you please tell me where I've made a mistake?

He was not disappointed. (1) The yoghourt, in (2) a blue china bowl, was deep yellow and with (3) the consistency of (4) X thick cream. (5) The green figs, ready peeled, were bursting with (6) X ripeness, and (7) the Turkish coffee was jet black and with (Cool a / the (?) burned taste that showed it had been freshly ground. Bond ate (9) a / the (?) delicious meal on (10) the / a (?) table drawn up beside (11) the / an (both ?) open window.

Many thanks,
Hela

...and a burned taste that showed it had been freshly ground. Bond ate the delicious meal (Now we know which meal he will eat--the one mentioned above--so we can use "the") on the table (Presuming there is only one table) drawn up beside (11) the open window. (I prefer this one, although it implies there is only one open window. )
