Do you know any games for improving English language? I mean games in which several people can be involved.
For example, every participant of the game writes one word on a piece of paper and drops it into a box. All pieces are mixed. Then everyone pulls a word out and tries to explain the word meaning for others without saying that word. Thus everybody uses his (her) vocabulary to make sense. Very Happy

Let's share the ideas of such games here! Laughing

There are a couple of quick games I used back when I was teaching English several years ago.
1. Animal flash cards. The students were paired up (need an even number of people and a moderator to make sure everyone is playing fair), and each draws a set of 3 cards and keeps then to themselves. They must describe the animal using English vocabulary, and the other person must guess the animal (preferably the English name, but if not they can use their native language word and learn the English name at the same time). Then they switch off. First pair to finish is the winner.

2. English Shiri-tori. A kind of group round-robin game. First person gives a word in English. Next person must say another word that starts with the last letter in the word from the person before them. Advanced classes can use themes such as food, animals, or places. For example, first person says "apple", next person says "egg", next says "grapes", next says "sandwich", and so on.

If you need a longer game, you can always try Scrabble or Boggle.

Cool! Smile
Thanks

I recalled another game from my memory Smile
It is named "hanged" Twisted Evil
One person keeps a word in mind and doesn't say it to the others (but he (she) can give the tips). Other participants are divided into two groups. Each group tries to guess the word by calling a letter in their turn. A stick-figure of a hanged person is drawn for each team as a method of keeping score. More wrong letters - more sticks. So the figure of which team is complete earlier, that team has lost Smile

Some games are there:
