Can A be changed to B?
A. You can spend your free time as you like.
B.You can spend yourfree time the way (that) you like.

Yes they are the same and both equally correct.
The reason is that "as" has the same meaning as "in the way (that)" in this context.
You could also put "like" in there (as shown below) because it would have the same meaning, but it doesn't sound as good as "as" or "in the way (that)"
"You can spend your free time like you want" is also correct. _________________ Ozabout7or8 |

You can also say, 'You can spend your free time as you wish.'
There is an assumed 'to' after wish. |
