What is the difference between "in my mind" and "on my mind"?
Thank you.

Hello Organica -
Generally speaking...
"in my mind" would mean 'in/to my way of thinking' or 'in my opinion'
"on my mind" would indicate some concern/problem/worry/etc...
also..
"have something in mind" would mean a plan or idea
English 'usage' can become quite interesting (frustrating??) when you advance beyond the 'beginner' level...What do you think? Philo |

Thank you for your reply.
Then, if I want to mean I am always thinking of you, should I say, "You are always on my mind" instead of "in my mind"?
Thanks again.

| Yes, that is correct. That is the title of a popular song in English. Have you heard it? |

Sure I remember the song, "You are always on my mind."
Thank you, Philo, for your help. |
