Dear teachers,
If I say "Show me the dog's picture."
does it mean "Show me the picture of the dog."
or "Show me the picture the dog has." ?
I need your help.

Hello Iwana -
It is easy to see how that might be confusing.
Normally, a dog would not have a picture to show to someone.
So, most people would understand it as - "Show me the picture of the dog."
Having said that, there might well be a dog with pictures to show. I have read about Chimps and Elephants drawing and painting pictures.
