Which sentence is correct?
#2-(1)The last thing I wanted to was teach.
(2)The last thing I wanted to was to teach.
Which sentence is correct?

I'd prefer "Chances are that he'll find her there."
For number 2, I'd rather say "The last thing I wanted to do was to teach."
or possibly, "The last thing I wanted was to teach." I don't like either of your examples. |
