Hi teachers
it's me again
i'm looking for a word/phrase which can decribe a kind of leave which is quite common and popular in our company. For instance, if i work 4 extra hours one day, i'm allowed to take 4 hours off another day. what do you call it? make-up leave? compensating leave? someone suggested i use leave in lieu or lieu leave, does it make any sense?
thanks a lot |

| In the U.S. I think we use "comp time" (compensatory time) for that. Sometimes workers are given a choice to work overtime or comp time, and sometimes they are not. I googled it, and there's quite a bit of information. |
