Dear teachers!!
In a little while
I will blow by every breeze
Friday night running
To Sunday on my knees
BY U2's song "In a little while"
<<<
I am not sure about the meaning "blow" in the second sentence. Does "blow" mean "whisper" in this song?
Thank you again for your help. |

I see no one else answered. Personally, I have no idea what it's supposed to mean. (That's a problem with song lyrics...)
I thought I'd at least let you know that you are not the only one who is confused.
My best guess is that he means he will outrun every breeze. "Blow by" or "blow past" sometimes means "to outrun" or "to move very quickly past."
E.g., "Wow! Did you see how that police car blew past us? There must be something big happening!" _________________ wintersweet
