I want to say: working as a team can prevent the problems when working independently
can I use "neutralize" to replace "prevent"?
which is better or any other suggestions?

Be careful using the word neutralize in this case. It sounds slightly pretentious. In earlier times, this word was used in scientific context.
Another example would be a military term: "neutralize the enemy".
In these days it can even sound "Trekky"*
*Trekky: as in Star Trek jargon
"The Kilingons have neutralized our force field!"
This is not a question of correct or incorrect English. It is a question of style and therefore could be subject to opinion.
I have just given you my opinion.
Working as a team can circumvent the problems of working independently. |
