Hi teachers
there is a preposition question that has been confusing me for a long time, you might think it's a stupid one
in this sentence
"pls set up the fixture in/on the machine", which prep. is more suitable, in or on, or others?
of course the fixture is not a part of the machine, when it produces a different product,a different fixture should be used.
thank you!

No, not at all. Prepositions like in, on, into, onto, at & others seem to confuse us all hell of a lot! |

Hi buddhaheart
thank you for your kind reply, but i'm a little bit confused, so just wanna make it clear, you mean here we have to choose "on", right? then what do you further mean by "no, not at all"? |

My "No, not at all. ..." is only to respond to quote above.
Yes, choose on. |
