1You are a vision.
=you have the ability to plan or you are good-looking ?
2I could sit in th mirror and do mae-up forever.
Does "sit in the mirror "sound wierd to you?
should it be "sit in front of the mirror"?
3 what is the difference between *to bug out on someone*and *to bug *someone?
4He's" uber-cute".=?
5to break the news to someone
-is this used only on unpleasant news ?
6He has a nice imagination, but no execution at all.
-Any mistake in this sentence?
Thank YOU |

1. Means you are looking great. Short for "You are a vision of loveliness." If you are a visionary, you are able to imagine the future in some special way.
2. Better: "I could sit in front of / at the mirror and do make-up forever."
3. When you bug someone, you bother him or her, like an annoying fly or mosquito. When you bug out, you leave, like a grasshopper just taking off.
4. Means super cute. Uber is German for over or hyper.
5. Yes, usually for bad news. Try to break it to him or her gently.
6. Grammatically correct, but you need a space after the comma. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |

Not quite. "Uber" is typically used as an adverb modifying an adjective or and adjective modifying a noun. It's never used by itself. You can say:
He rides a Harley and works at O.C. Choppers. He is uber cool. (used as an adverb)
or
He went to the San Diego Comic-Con AND Blizzcon. He is an uber dork. (used as an adjective) |
