What does that mean in here?

"I was born in Brooklyn, NY...and am as English speaking as they come . I now live in South Florida and am surrounded by Spanish speaking people. "

Thanks.

Whenever someone says "I am as X as they come," it means, "I am as X as is possible to be / I am completely X." It works in the second and third person as well, of course. "She is as Irish as they come" or "He is as dishonest as they come."

So, "I am as English speaking as they come" just means, "I am 100% English speaking." Now I find myself in South Florida, where a lot of people speak Spanish. Gee, I wish I'd paid attention to my Spanish teacher in high school.
