Demonstratives are deictic words (they depend on an external frame of reference) that indicate which entities a speaker refers to, and distinguishes those entities from others.
Examples: this, that , these, those
Perhaps you could use "it". however, you aremaking a distinction between more important things and "it". Therfore, you should use a demonstrative pronoun.
When you refer to the book, you refer to one thing, so you can use the pronoun. "it". |
