Hello,
Can you tell me which of the two sentences is correct or they are both right?
1.Our thoughts were centeded on the girl who had died.
2.Our thoughts centered on the girl who had died.
Thank you |

Hello, I think that both of your sentences are ok. In the 1st one, 'centered' is a past participle, used as an adjective. In the 2nd, 'centered' is a past tense verb (intransitive). The 1st one is a bit clearer in meaning, so use it. -Eric |
