"Japanese people are rather tolerant to others smoking in public places."
Is it OK to use "generous to" or "easy with" instead of "tolerant to" ?
Thank you in advance!

In the first sentence, I would say 'tolerant of others'.
'easy with' is okay, so so. 'generous to' is not good. 'tolerant of' is the best.
