In the stand alone sentences 1 through 4, I prefer 1 and 3.
Of 5 and 6 , which are incomplete sentences, I think 5 is more likely.
For example: The decision to cease using CFCs in packaging, will be a benefit to the environment flows more easily than: The decision to cease to use CFCs in packaging will be a benefit to the environment.
I guess you should try not to line up two infinitives one behind the other in most cases. |
