With the Association, and new team barely off the ground, the team finished an impressive four out of seven and five out of eleven in the Star and Snowbird classes.

What does the sentence above mean?

thanks

This is a little difficult to understand without knowing which association and what kind of competition it is. It seems that there was a new sports team that just started (barely off the ground.) They won four out of seven games or matches (I don't know what sport it is). That means they only lost 3. In addition, out of eleven matches or games in the Star and Snowbird classes, they won five. It seems there might be different classes or categories based on age? performance? If this doesn't help, give some more information so we can figure it out.
