Dear Chan-Seung, Yes, you are correct. Something 'on' is 'going on now'. It is happening now. That use of 'on' might be related to the turning 'on' of electrical devices and appliances. When such devices are 'on', things are turning, moving, making noises, happening. Conversely, when things like agreements or deals are 'off', things are no longer happening. Ok?--Eric  |
