'(I want to) go swimming.' is what is usually said.
'(I want to) go to swim.' is not wrong but sounds odd and is not often said.
"go" is usually followed by the gerund form. (-ing)
"go to" is usually followed by place words. 'I want to go to the swimming pool.' (maybe to watch swimming) |
