I would definitely recommend the book to any one wanting to learn English; from beginners to those who have let their English
skills* lapse*.

=stagnate?or become poor?

Thanks Very Happy

Dear Kerstin, I think your 'lapse' is more like 'stagnate' than 'become poor'. It means not using or practicing what you have learned, lately. It's more like 'become stale or not fresh'. Like: what you've learned is deep in the brain, and needs much effort to be retrieved. Only then will you be back to where you were, English-speaking-wise. Ok?--Eric Smile
