Please help me on this.

1. Can he have taken my umbrella by mistake?

2. Is it possible that he should have taken my umbrella by mistake?

The two sentences above have the same meaning.

Can I rewrite #2 into
"Is it possible that he could have taken my unbrella by mistake?" and keep its meaning??

For me the sentences should be written as follows:

1. Could he have taken my umbrella by mistake?

2. Is it possible that he took/has taken my umbrella by mistake?
