In the follwing, "being crammed" is grammatically right?
I think " and desperately crammed" is a right one.
" I postponed thinking about final examinations at the end of my first semester at college, desperately being crammed the night before. Although I drank enough coffee to keep the whole city awake when preparing for the exams, I got C's and D's. Then, I realized those who got A's on their finals had their own style of preparing for exams. They weren't just lucky but knew how to prepare! I'll tell you a method of my own I have developed over the years." |

No, it's not right.
When you study very hard before an exam, having slacked off most of the semester, that is cramming for the exam. The idea is that the student is cramming the information into his brain right before the test, hoping that he can remember enough to do well on the exam.
I would rewrite it as, "I postponed thinking about final examinations at the end of my first semester at college, desperately cramming the night before." _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
