Hi guys,
I have one question for today.
Can I *drop in on* this dance class? Is that how you would say to ask if I can just take a single lesson instead of lessons over a longer period of time.

Yes, you can drop in on the class once in a while, as opposed to enrolling on a long-term basis. It is like dropping in on a friend -- visiting without letting the friend know you are coming first. You just show up unannounced.
