She says that she doesn't have a high gag reflex. It has to do with a swallowing problem. Check it out here:

Now I'm wondering if this is one of those conditions (or diseases, symptoms...whatever) that people make lots of jokes about (i.e. diarrhea)
And do most people in America (or any other English speaking countries) know about this medical condition?
I mean... is everyone familiar with this term eventhough they're not doctors? |

Everyone knows what the gag reflex is, even if they don't know the medical terminology used in the Wikipedia article. If you put your finger down your throat, you will experience the gag reflex for yourself.
