Hello, teachers!
1. A newspaper was blown off the rack and was scattered on the aisle.
2. A newspaper was blown off the rack and spread on the aisle.
Are these sentences correct and do they express the same situation?
Thank you in advance!

The two words are synonyms. Scattered sounds better to me but the preposition has to be "in" the aisle. _________________ I'm never going to learn if you don't correct my mistakes! |
