Hello, teachers!!
Cookbooks sometimes suggest unusual methods of cooking food. Not long ago in the United States, two travel writers named Chris Maynard and Bill Scheller wrote a cookbook that explains how you can cook food on your car engine. Their idea was that if you have a lot of traveling to do, you can cook your meal as you drive.
----->
In the last sentence, may I write "Their idea was that if you have a lot of traveling" instead of "Their idea was that if you have a lot of traveling to do"?
Thank you in advance. |

No, that would not be correct.
I do a lot of work.
I have a lot of work to do.
I have a lot of work.
I do a lot of travelling.
I have a lot of travelling to do.
I have a lot of trips.
I do a lot of cooking.
I have a lot of cooking to do.
I have a lot of weddings/banquets/parties etc.. _________________ I'm never going to learn if you don't correct my mistakes! |
