Hello.
A), You are late. If you had come a few minutes earlier, you would have met him.
B). You are late, If you had come a few minutes earlier, you would met
him.
Which of the two is right? And what about the next two:
C). James wishes he saw the football game instead of the film.
D). James wishes he had seen the football game instead of the film.

This one is correct:
A), You are late. If you had come a few minutes earlier, you would have met him.
In my opinion, this one is the best:
D). James wishes he had seen the football game instead of the film.
However, it's possible you will hear people say the other one as well. I don't think it sounds as good. |
