1. My advice today is/are just rough guidelines. You will find your own ways....

2. What are you going to do with all these food?
Here food is plural?

3. A: That (poem) sounds familiar.
B: That's because it's famous. It's Shakespeare.

--- Is the dialogue gramatically okay or should it be expressed otherwiese? How about It's Shakespeare's?

Thank you for your attention.

Hello Sabrinak -

1 - 'is' because 'advice' is singular.

Your example might be better if you change it to: My advice today is just 'a rough guideline'.

2 - What are you going to do with all 'this' food.

3 - "It's Shakespeare." is fine. Philo
