She gave a nice gift to me.
In the above sentence, is 'to me' a preposition phrase or adverb phrase?
I'd appreciate your help. |

I would say neither.
A prepositional phrase is a group of words containing a preposition and its complement while an adverbial phrase is a linguistic term for a phrase with an adverb as head.
"To" is not an adverb nor is "to me" a group of words. _________________ I'm never going to learn if you don't correct my mistakes! |
