Dictionaries say that the word ettiquette is uncountable but I found lots of examples on the google; so, now I'm very confused:
1. Which is correct?
It is an etiquette to adapt your behavior to the local cultures.
It is etiquette to adapt to your behavior to the local cultures.
2. Is there meaning difference between these:
Take a bus
get on the bus
catch a bus
Is the following sentence is correct?
If you are ready, lets take a bus.
3. Does 'special' mean 'sale'?
We have a special on now.
These lamps are on special now. (--> is it okay?)
Thank you for your help. |
