Hello, teachers!!
Take 3 tablets daily with a meal.
----->
What does it mean?
(1)
Does this mean "take 3 tablets daily with either breakfast, or lunch, or dinner, so take 3 tablets every day"?
(2)
Does this mean "take 3 tablets daily with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so take 9 tablets every day"?
Thank you in advance. |

"3 tablets daily" means three tablets a day, so (1) is closer to being correct. However, "either" is not correct. "with breakfast, lunch and dinner" is correct.
The best way to say it is 'Take one tablet 3 times a day, with meals.'
"Take 3 tablets daily with a meal." can be taken to mean that you can take all 3 tablets at the same time, with any meal. |
