I'm confused with these three words. and want to know more.~
what's the difference between 'conception','perception' and 'value system'?

Hello Snall -

May I suggest that you -

a) look in your dictionary

b) write several example sentences

c) post them here (in this thread)

I'm sorry that i still can't tell the differece clearly between them.
and it seems that there is no word of "vaule system''.

con‧cep‧tion
1 [uncountable and countable]
an idea about what something is like, or a general understanding of something
EX:
1.the conception of parliamentary democracy
2.changing conceptions of the world
3.They have no conception of what women really feel and want.

per‧cep‧tion
1 [uncountable and countable]
the way you think about something and your idea of what it is like
EX:
1.children's perceptions of the world
2.the public perception of the government's performance

Hi Snall,

For the third word (phrase), the closest definition is "mores" (note the pronunciation).
