Hello,
'Jane is confused by Mary's strong reaction to Tom's pursuit on a lead against Albert.'
What does 'pursuit on a lead against someone' mean here? What does 'on a lead' mean here?
Thanks a lot. |

| A lead is a clue or guiding indication to something. On a lead means onto a clue. Pursuit means chase, a pastime or an occupation. 'Pursuit on a lead against someone' means the chase of a clue against someone or going after someone based on some useful information. |
