				| Would you paraphrase a part of the below after "whereby"? I don't understand it.
Definition: Pertaining to a marriage between a nobleman and a woman of lower rank, whereby the rank of the nobleman does not accrue to the wife and the issue of the marriage has no claim on the title or estate of the father.

				| Hello Hiromichi -
whereby...the wife will not share the title (ie. if he is a 'Count', she can't become a 'Countess' due to the marriage)

and any children born to her (issue) will not be able to inherit

the title (Count, Earl, Duke, etc.) or any property

 (castle, manor, land, etc.) of

 the father.

It would be most interesting to see your response to Swim4lifes' request for more 'puns' posted below.

				| Philo: Now I get it. I realized that 'issue' has such a meaning. Thank you very much.
