Hello. I have question.
the sentence below is about licensing by a record label.
| Quote: |
Our Key Advantages Are:
● Lower minimum runs of product than the competition can offer
● We own all our recordings, so we can offer a fast, expert and efficient service
● Outstanding value for money
● A phenomenal choice of repertoire
● The complete service from your initial concept to the finished CD

Could you tell me what the word "runs" means?
Thanks in advance. |

A product run is the amount of a product to be made.
If you want a product made, the manufacturer will insist on a minimum number of the product in order to make it worth his while to set up his equipment to produce what you want.
A minimum product run of 500 means that he needs an order of at least 500 before he will agree to do it. |
