"have the birthday party"
"organize the birthday party"
"host the birthday party"
"play the birthday party"
"convene the birthday party"?

"have the birthday party" OK, SAME AS "HOLD"
"organize the birthday party" NO, NOT TO MEAN "HOLD / HAVE"
"host the birthday party" YES
"play the birthday party" NO
