Hello,
My question is this:
Some movies have a negative message and others are positive.
Here, 'a negative message' is okay? or should it be 'negative messages'?
I think the plural form should be natural because 'some movies' are plural. Am I right or wrong?
Thank you all the time. |

Here is what I can think of...
Some movies have negative messages while some others have positives.
Can any of our expert teachers comment on this... please?

| "Some movies have a negative message, and others have a positive one." sounds okay to me. It means there is one message from each movie. If you say, "Some movies have negative messages and othes have positive ones." it is also okay. It means there is more than one message for each movie, at least to me. |
