Dear teachers
Word "want" and "mean" seem not usually to be used in the progressive tenses in practical usage.
A:Where did you buy that sweater?
B: I've been wanting(meaning) to get one.
In this case,perfect progressive form is possible if "want" and "mean" refer to intentions, right? |
