1Taking care of children can be "tiresome" sometimes .
Should it be "tiresome "or "tiring"?
2Do you have a special name for the kind of make -up that's dark around the eyes, and rockers wear it very often?
3How do you call some who's stingy?do you have any noun for that?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge! |

1. "Tiresome" is right. It means more than just tiring; it means irritating and bothersome.
2. That's probably mascara, but I'm a guy and no expert.
3. Tightwad (mean he holds on tight to his wad of cash).
Pinchpenny (mean he holds onto every penny, and so tightly he pinches iti.
Cheapskate (he tries to get by or skate without paying, because he is cheap).
Niggard (one who is niggardly). And don't confuse this with "the N-word." You probably would never say this except to someone whose vocabulary and intelligence are sufficiently great that he or she will not misunderstand and take offense. _________________ You live a new life for every new language you speak. -Czech proverb |
