Is there an expression "looks could kill" or something in English??

What does it mean?
And how do you use that??

The expression is a complete sentence: If looks could kill!

You've said or done something that made someone very angry. Their response is to glare into your eyes (they stare at you with intensity and an angry look on their face). Later, as you relate that incident to someone else, you might end it with, "If looks could kill!" to describe the reaction you got. You're saying that if angry looks were lethal, that one would have done you in.
